                                                 Wendy Williams

After a string of episodes on the VH1 network every few months, I knew it was only a matter of time before the Wendy Williams Show became official.

Her VH1 segments were so juicy I knew the gossip queen would retain a permanent spot; it took long enough but she finally did it!

As a faithful follower of Wendy Williams' radio show on 107.5 WBLS, the Jersey native grasped my attention with her sarcastic humor and persistent nature of getting down to the nitty gritty of all dirty entertainment gossip; if you wanted to know who producer/rapper P. Diddy was having sex with -- you'd tune into Wendy to find out!

Wendy's TV show is unlike any other because she literally carried over her radio show style -- like when she whispers to the camera with her hands cupped around her mouth, a fan would instantly remember her voice lowering at specific times during her radio show conversations. She also brought her advice hour to the talk show which I always loved -- and she actually gives good advice!

If you haven't seen it yet tune-in to The Wendy Williams Show @10am eastern time on Fox 5.

Since the demands of her new TV show which first aired July 13th, became to much for her to continue on with her radio show The Wendy Williams Experience; Wendy is leaving radio in just a few short months.

Wendy, we've enjoyed listening to your voice and now we'll enjoy watching you everyday in the flesh! YOU GO GIRL!

Big sister Kim Kardashian is helping her sister Khloé lose weight, which has been an ongoing battle for the KUWTK reality star.

When a female is tall and big boned the way Khloé is, the body is made to be a certain size for a reason and losing to much weight could potentially make a person look horrible. Khloe looks great now yes, but her voluptuous figure looked great before to. I wish full figured women would stop thinking that they're unattractive...because they're full figured.

For example: can you imagine rapper/actress Queen Latifah (seen-r) being skinny? No! She looks fabulous exactly the way she is.

What about singer Alicia Keys, who's known
for having a very full figured body type -- but would you want to see her skinny?

Even deceased model Anna Nicole Smith (seen-r); when Anna was full figured I personally thought she was gorgeous, and when she became super skinny I noticed that she appeared much older looking and somewhat dried up.

Just saying, smaller doesn't necessarily mean better. Khloé, you go girl and I hope you're enjoying the new you!

Pearl Fryer, is a 72 year old African American male that became a local celebrity due to his special gardening techniques. Fryer admits to watching a three minute demonstration on gardening at a local nursery, which in turn gave him enough insight to become the self taught artist he is today.

The Fryer's stated that when they were looking to purchase a home in a suburban white neighborhood of South Carolina, they were immediately discriminated against by those white neighbors who commented that the Fryer's, "won't keep their yard up." Apparently, these people hadn't heard of Mr. Fryer's exceptional gifts!

However, Tim Burton the creator of the film 'Edward Scissorhands' had in fact heard of Mr. Fryer, and claimed to have received his inspiration for his movie from Pearl Fryers' gardening techniques.

Have you seen the movie Edward Scissorhands?

Where the main character Edward had scissors for hands, and used them to cut trees into exotic figures? Director Tim Burton used Fryer's gardening techniques to create computer images of exotic trees and plants within the film. The local newspaper and larger gardening community began to take notice and eventually, Fryer caught the attention of major garden design magazines who would feature his artwork in their glossy photographs. This led to the artist being invited to present at garden shows around the country! He became a regular on television shows such as PBS, HGTV, and Turner South.

The creative horticulturist stated that he once asked his wife why she married him? He told her that he had no money and no job, and she had money and a job so why did she want him? Fryer admitted he expected his wife to say, she married him because she was madly in love with him. Instead Mrs. Fryer commented "I saw potential in you." Looks like Pearl is certainly living up to the potential that his wife envisioned?

The South Carolina resident has since retired from his regular job but still creates his artistic topiary work, and when he isn't doing that he teaches children and adults his special skills while directing tour buses that visit his gardening grounds. Mr. Fryer also does gardening for the local 'Waffle House' diner, in exchange for free meals for him and his wife. His newest adventure is metal sculpting which he calls his "Junque Art."

Pearl Fryer’s topiary garden is located in Bishopville, South Carolina, 29010. The garden is being preserved by the Garden Conservancy.

MICHAEL JACKSON (1958-2009)

Hearing of Michael Jackson's passing left me in a state of shock. I cried for his family, I cried because he was cut down in the prime of his life but mostly because he was so misunderstood. This legendary man grew up in front of the cameras, giving many interviews that gave us a rare look into his life.
My heart always went out to MJ, as I read in magazines about his confessions of childhood abuse by the hands of his father, and how he was considered a "golden child" that would bring wealth and fame. Apparently, his father lived vicariously through his children which often pressured young MJ to deliver.

Public schools were foreign to young Michael, as he was home schooled his entire childhood in order to keep working. And listening to the story of his life it would seem that he lived in a lonely bubble, and hopefully now he has finally found eternal peace. It's easy to understand why he'd try to re-create his own childhood; trying to relive what he felt he missed out on.

The world is currently in turmoil with division, ignorance, and hatred but the one thing millions of people in this world seem to relate to is Michael Jackson. He brought people together with his messages of love and acceptance, and most of his songs were about how the world should love more. Obviously, the infamous entertainer knew the recipe to happiness although he couldn't seem to find it within himself.

Moreover, because the musical icon gave the world so much of himself, shouldn't it behoove us to try and work at fulfilling his dream of a more positive and loving universe?

As a way of understanding the man behind the music, below is the song "Childhood" which was written, composed, and produced by Michael Jackson.

Have you seen my Childhood? I'm searching for the world that I come from'

Cause I've been looking around in the lost and found of my heart...

No one understands me, they view it as such strange eccentricities...

'Cause I keep kidding around Like a child, but pardon me...

People say I'm not okay, 'cause I love such elementary things...

It's been my fate to compensate, for the Childhood I've never known...

Have you seen my Childhood?

I'm searching for that wonder in my youth, like pirates in adventurous dreams, of conquest and kings on the throne...

Before you judge me, try hard to love me, look within your heart then ask, have you seen my Childhood?

People say I'm strange that way, 'cause I love such elementary things, it's been my fate to compensate, for the Childhood (Childhood) I've never known...

Have you seen my Childhood?

I'm searching for that wonder in my youth, like fantastical stories to share, but the dreams I would dare, watch me fly...

Before you judge me, try hard to love me.

The painful youth I've had, have you seen my Childhood....

RIP Michael Jackson, I hope you've found the life you always dreamed of -- playing with God in heaven because he loves you just the way you are, and will let you be exactly who you are with him.

Did you see the LA Lakers blow out the Orlando Magic, in a championship game this past Sunday?

After only having one more game to win, the Lakers took it all the way home becoming the reigning champions for the 15th time in Laker history. LA Laker Kobe Bryant was named MVP yet again, but was there ever any doubt?

LA Lakers Pau Gasol was a true team player and Derek Fisher, came through in the nick of time with a 3-point shot that sealed the deal.

WooHoo! LA ALL DAY BABY!

If you missed the game view a clip below.
