Monday, Daniel Bark appeared in state Superior Court on charges of reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident. Prosecutors stated charges have been upgraded to aggravated manslaughter and drunk driving which claimed the life of former American Idol contestant, Alexis Cohen.
Defense attorney David Glassman says Bark and his family, are distraught over the death of Alexis Cohen, who was struck by Barks' vehicle Saturday in the tiny shore town of Seaside Heights. The twenty-four year old Allentown, Pennsylvania, resident is best known for her Internet video that went viral displaying her disgust of being rejected by Idol judges.
Rest in peace Alexis, you were courageous, comical, and good-spirited.
