Anivia Cruz-Dilworth (seen-r), a plus size high fashion model for Wilhemina and Click modeling agencies, has been indicted on charges of practicing cosmetic medicine without a license.
Allegedly, six women went to Dilworth for buttocks-enhancement injections and was told by the model that she's a trained professional. Instead of receiving a fuller posterior the six females between the ages of twenty and thirty years old, were sent to the hospital before their second treatment could occur.

Cruz-Dilworth injected six women with what she described as hydro-gel; a solid jelly-like material thought to be similar to bathtub caulk, said Essex County Assistant Prosecutor Peter Sepulveda.
Cruz used a syringe, marked the women, then injected them while using Krazy glue to seal the punctures. The effects of the injections were so serious that one woman had to undergo five separate hospitalizations and multiple surgeries. Cruz-Dilworth charged anywhere from $650 to $1,250 dollars for the injections. The 5 foot 10 beauty now faces 3-5 years in prison.

On her Facebook page Cruz-Dilworth, says she graduated from West Orange High School and Montclair State University and owns 'It’s Anivia' cosmetics and skin care line. The company’s website says the line has not yet launched.
LA's perspective: I personally met and got to know Anivia Cruz at Kean University before she had the Dilworth on her last name. From what I know of Anivia she was always very sweet, very kind, and very creative but somewhat troubled from her past. It's hard for me to believe that she would do this on her own.
I'm not justifying what she did, just a bit confused by her far out actions. So I only hope and pray that a thorough investigation is done on her behalf, as I do not believe she acted alone.

ReplyDeleteHey KG! You don't remember?! She was very tall and thinner at the time. She was always involved in Kean's fashion shows and even did a show where she designed her own clothing line. Ummmmm....not sure if you ran in 2 her, but she was hard 2 miss....lol
ReplyDeleteIve known her since 2005...when She was Vanity at the go go bars. I agree, she has had a troubled past, mostly not her fault, but alot of her own doing.
ReplyDeleteFirst off, she is beautiful, but has had work done herself. The bottom she roacks is not hers. I knew her when she had absolutely no ass(for lack of better terms). She had that done, then decided to start doing them to others when she realized the amount she could be making. Besides, when u have a target audience of stripper friends, why not?
I know personally people she recruited to work with her...
At the end of the day-whomever decided to go get procedures done should have done research and understood the risks involve. However, obviously, Anivia didnt know what she was doing at all. Which was evident by the damage she did to her own body(with the injections she gave herself) and others.
Body work is addictive. If they didnt go to her,they wouldve went elsewhere.
